How to Get Interviews:
Many job seekers in Ethiopia get frustrated because they apply to many places, but never get called for interviews. This is happening to many job seekers applying for various jobs in Ethiopia through job portals such Ezega Jobs, EmployEthiopia, EthioJobs, Mjobs, etc. In many cases, the reasons are simple and common. Regardless of whether you are applying from mjobs or employethiopia or any other, the hiring manager normally gets many resumes to review. The number one question in the mind of the hiring manager is who among the many applicants can best handle the job at hand. The only way to tell prior to interviews is through resumes and cover letters. The hiring manager would normally look for someone who has done something similar or at least one who showed interest in the work being advertised. If your cover letter so generic (the same for all jobs), you will be talking about something else not related to the job you are applying - which means, in the eye of the hiring manager, you are not suitable for the job you are applying.

It isn't "innocent" joke by any means and it isn't outrageous enough to be funny in... well, outrageous kind of way. If John happened to throw Ted out at September 11th, and Ted said: "This is the second worst September 11th of my life", maybe that would be funny. Shortly afterwards, at John's workplace, when Guy says that he broke up with his girlfriend because she farted in her sleep. I just... that scene was almost painful to watch. So unfunny. When Lori and Tami get into a fight at that dinner... really unfunny, and it seemed to came out of nowhere. For example, when Tammy-Lyn asks Lori: "Did you just call me a whore? ". If Lori remained silent for some time, and then said, trying to sound polite: "What made you realize that... I mean, what makes you say that? " (thus showing that she did think that about Tammy-Lyn, but tried to hide it), or if she simply stared awkwardly at Tammy-Lyn for some time and then said, keeping the straight face the whole time: "Say what? ", that probably would have been somewhat funny, and the argument that follows would be more believable.

The dense, polluted, and crowded conditions they live in, along with the preexisting health conditions created by those conditions, are why the black community and other racial minorities are so disproportionately impacted by Covid-19. "It's hard to transform cities built along lines of segregation, " says Richard Matthew, who studies urban planning, environmental change, and poverty at UC Irvine. "We manage the risk of rich parts of the city well, but we have left other parts of the city to fend for themselves. " The inequality—and resulting unhealthiness—of cities is a nuanced, layered, snarl of a problem thought by many to be intractable. "We can't have one-size-fits-all. We can't have a smart-city revolution that will lead to health, " says Corburn. "We don't need a solution; we need to have a process that's much more open and inclusive and will center the people who have been marginalized. " In other words: Ask the communities what they actually want and need. Corburn recommends placing cities' highest budget, best designed, most beautiful new projects in the poorest, most neglected areas.
